Lovers Key Resort - Gulf Coast Getaway near Page Field
Lovers Key Resort is located 35 km from Page Field. The Welcome and Discovery Center features exhibits on local wildlife and ecosystems. Activities include tram service to the beach (8 a.m. to sunset), kayak, canoe, and paddle board rentals. The Friends of Lovers Key (FOLK) supports park initiatives. The park protects sea turtle nests, with opportunities for nest sponsorship. Educational programs are available, including summer camps for children (ages 6-16) focusing on marine biology and natural history. Volunteering opportunities include docent positions at the Welcome and Discovery Center. The Welcome & Discovery Center open Wednesday - Saturday 10am-2pm. The Exhibit Hall is open for visitor use.
